Los Angeles, California – the land of dreams, sunshine, and all things glam.
Growing up in San Diego, I came up to Los Angeles a lot. We would always switch up our trips staying everywhere from Beverly Hills to West Hollywood to Santa Monica and beyond. As a kid, the amount of hotels in LA astounded me, and they always seemed so glamorous. Well with the overwhelming amount of choices when booking in LA, I’ve decided to round up a few of my favorite gems amongst the LA scene craziness!

The Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel
The Beverly Wilshire exudes history and luxury in an understatedly glamorous way. With its prime location located directly across the street from the famous stretch of Rodeo Drive, how could you not feel like a celebrity while staying here? The celebrity treatment continues with little touches like coffee, tea & pastries in the lobby in the morning and a luxury car that will take you anywhere within a 2.5 mile radius. Oh and remember the movie Pretty Woman? Well this is the Pretty Woman hotel. Living the dream!

One of the only two beachfront hotels in Los Angeles, this Santa Monica gem makes you feel like you’re staying at someone’s beach house. It’s coastal style is reminiscent of Cape Cod and has an all American feel. The cuisine is fresh and delicious (try the farro salad at Coast!), the rooftop pool is serene, and the hotel overall has a boutique vibe. Book an oceanfront room and enjoy waking up and sipping your morning coffee on the balcony directly facing the beach.

The second of two properties located right on the beach in Los Angeles, Casa Del Mar is located directly next to Shutters On The Beach and owned by the same company but has a completely different vibe. The ornate and eclectic lobby (I mean really, palm trees in the lobby) is welcoming with a California vibe. And this place has history. It was built in 1926 and was once a family estate amongst other things before becoming the Casa Del Mar. Today it has 2 restaurants perched up high overlooking the boardwalk and ocean, and the rooftop pool is not to be missed!
