During my recent trip to Europe, I had to pack small and I had to pack light. I would be traveling for 17 days with only a backpack and small duffel in which I would be personally trekking around everywhere. Which meant being very selective about which products I took with me.
I’ve had a lot of questions about what products I absolutely MUST take with me when I travel, so I decided to keep it short and sweet and share my current go-to’s that made the journey across the pond with me!
Trufora Night Serum 85 & Trufora Intensive Night Treatment
The Trufora products are a big part of my new nighttime skincare regimen, and I found them especially beneficial while traveling. They are the perfect size for travel and extra hydrating after long days of travel. The Night Serum 85 goes on smooth and is great for aging, and the Intensive Night Treatment is a light yet moisturizing night cream. The Triple Action Exfoliator is a staple of mine when at home as well.
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 Styling Treatment
If you’re strapped on packing space, this is the one hair product you need. It truly is “5-in-1” targeting smoothness, volume, conditioning, strength and polish. It was all I really needed while in Europe!
Mario Badescu Acne Facial Cleanser
I have the 56 ml version of the product which I think is the perfect size for travel. I also love this because it combats travel blemishes without being too drying.
You will rarely find me on a plane without this. Rosewater spray is my favorite product to make you feel refreshed. I often have it in my bag for a mid-morning and mid-day spritz!
Almay Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Pads
These are my favorite eye makeup remover pads because they work and don’t make your face feel oily or sticky afterwards. I also love the small packaging… perfect for travel!
This thing is a LIFESAVER. If you ever feel like you have a pimple forming or if you already do have one, dab a little bit of this all-natural oil on it. It will most likely be gone by the next day!
Colorescience Sunforgettable Loose Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50
Not gonna lie I was kind of skeptical about powdered sunscreen, but this is my new favorite travel companion for sunny trips. It is easy to carry around whether you are headed to the beach or out exploring for the day, and it doesn’t leave your face feeling oily like normal sunscreen does. I questioned how safe it was as well but after consulting a dermatologist and getting the okay, I have become a lifetime fan.
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Petal
My go-to lip color that’s moisturizing and has SPF. Perfect for keeping your lips hydrated yet stylish while traveling.
Elizabeth & James Perfume Spray Sample
I always have multiple travel-sized samples of perfume to use for a quick fresh up. It’s great because you don’t have to carry around a huge bottle, and they’re even small enough to fit in your pocket!
Safe travels y’all!
Best,
Chelsea Rose Martin
